One of the most serious faults we deal with on the Barista Express is the machine tripping
the electrics or blowing a fuse in the house RCD.
It often happens suddenly. The machine was working fine, then one day it trips the circuit.
From that point, it can happen every time the machine is turned on.
If this is happening to you, do not keep turning the machine back on. It can be dangerous,
and continuing to use it can make the underlying fault worse.
The cause isn’t always obvious. In our experience, electrical faults on the Barista Express
are often connected to internal leaks, worn components, or damaged connectors. Every
repair we carry out includes a full internal inspection and component testing to identify
exactly what’s causing the fault.
In most cases, this is a fully repairable problem.
